- dit zijn bacteriën die hun substraat (voeding) oxideren door middel van zuurstof ademhaling en die zich voeden met de energie die door dit proces wordt gecreëerd.
Scope note
- Aërobe bacteriën zijn het tegenovergestelde van anaërobe bacteriën die geen zuurstofgas nodig hebben.
